We believe investing should not have to involve choosing between paying financial adviser fees or doing everything yourself. Vanquish provides an alternative: a flexible range of professionally managed portfolios with inclusive guidance and genuinely helpful support.
Our clients typically fall into two groups: those who want to be involved in the overall choice and direction of their investments - but without the day-to-day responsibility for research, stock selection and monitoring - and those who prefer to have everything fully managed for them. Vanquish provides the infrastructure, research and portfolio management expertise, together with experienced financial and tax planning guidance that supports both.

In 2025, Hencilla became part-owned by platform technology and investment research provider Vanquish Analytics, giving us access to advanced software development, communication tools, asset management research and regulatory compliance expertise. All client assets are fully protected under FCA rules, held in custody and eligible for FSCS protection.

Vanquish Analytics is the specialist platform software provider and independent portfolio researcher that provides the technology behind the Vanquish platform, together with market analysis and portfolio investment committee governance.
Its team brings decades of combined experience across the technology and communications, regulated investment provider and regulatory compliance sectors, delivering new and innovative solutions within complex financial markets.
Discretionary Portfolio Management
Sentinel Portfolio Management is the Financial Conduct Authority authorised and regulated discretionary manager of the Vanquish Portfolios. Launched in 2020 it aims to challenge preconceptions in the investment management marketplace.
With a team that can trace its professional roots back to the 1990s, its philosophy is that risk, not traditional equity/bond asset allocation, drives investment returns and therefore employs a 'fluid' asset allocation approach, preferring to manage portfolios by volatility to generate goal based outcomes.
Custody & Dealing
WealthKernel is the Financial Conduct Authority authorised and regulated custodian of the Vanquish platform, trustee and administrator of the Vanquish SIPP and plan manager of the Vanquish ISA.
