Introduction

Index trackers are a simple and low cost way to track stock markets and other asset classes. Whilst you will never have the potential to make larger profits by outperforming the markets you are tracking, you can never underperform them either.

THE VANQUISH PORTFOLIOS

The Index Tracker Range

Index 100

Track the world's economy in one simple investment. Index 100 matches each market in line with its overall weighting, so where the US makes up 42% of global markets, the EU 11%, China 10%, the UK 3%, and so on, Vanquish Index 100 replicates this.

Index 80

Tracking the world's stock markets with 80% of your investment, whilst 20% is held in fixed interest instruments. As the name suggests, these pay a fixed level of return and whilst interest rates remain high the portfolio favours money markets over bonds for stonger annual returns and reduced volatility.

Index 60

Index 60 provides 60% global stock market exposure and 40% fixed interest. The increase in fixed interest exposure and reduction in company shares is designed to further reduce volatility, whist still maintaining a majority focus on stock market gains.

Index 40

Index 40 represents the cross over point where you are are primarily tracking fixed interest, whilst retaining global stock market exposure. Whilst still providing significant equity participation, the emphasis has now moved to the reduced volatility that fixed interest exposure can deliver.

Index 20

With 80% fixed interest and 20% stock market exposure, Vanquish Index 20 is designed to firmly place the focus on lower volatility whist still retaining a small equity exposure. The fixed interest element is still focused on money markets over lower yielding bonds.

Index 0

Vanquish Index 0 is 100% fixed interest with no equity participation whatsoever. `it is designed for those who want a low cost approach to holding global bonds and money maket instruments on an exclusive basis or for blending with Index 100 to achieve a more precise equity/fixed interest mix.
